December 19th, Friday – Community Get-Together: “We’re hosting a community meet-up to strengthen our network and grow Palestine work in Edmonton.”

December 20th, Saturday – Solidarity March with Canada Post: “Working class folks and the services we have are being cut left right and centre with the Post Office at the centre of it. We are at risk of being the ONLY G7 nation without a post office all because those in power won’t consider expanding the revenues at the post office which would be a win / win for Canadians EVERYWHERE!
Join us on December 20th at NOON as we let the government know ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!”

December 20th, Saturday – No Accountability No Peace: “Let the people rise to their highest potential. We are scared, we are mad, we WILL NOT back down, We are ALBERTA!!!!
Our plan:nStart slow every second Saturday, while we make connections, repair bonds and gain a united voice. We keep showing up until we are there on mass, EVERY SATURDAY… building a community that will be infront of every UCP office across this provience demanding their resignation! Demanding a party that works for the people!
ACIP will be at the Alberta Legislature December 20th because hot or cold, sun or snow nothing should break our momentum. We ask that other organizations and individuals across Alberta stand up and speak up. Join us same time, different place (your closest UCP MLA office) because It’s not just time we mobilized it’s time we mobilized in unison.”

December 21st, Sunday – Blackout The System: Citizens Assembly – Building Community Together: “Citizens Assemblies are weekly gatherings that equip participants with the skills and confidence to replace corporate systems with local alternatives. This initiative marks the beginning of a cultural shift toward systems that prioritize people over corporations.”
Time: 5pm MT

December 22nd, Monday – The People’s Charter Open Call: “This year, a new permanent people-powered Parliament For Us was convened in London. An accurate snapshot of the UK listened to the voices of thousands of people to draft The People’s Charter.
Here’s a preview. The 5 headline demands are:

Tax wealth,not work

Slash political corruption

Choose life over GDP

End support for genocide

Reclaim our spaces

Join the call on the 22nd so we can get into what this all means together. We’ll let you know just as soon as the full People’s Charter is released.”

December 26th, Friday – Pride Corner on Whyte: “Join us for dancing, hot chocolate, peaceful protest, and community! 🪧🎶”
Time: 4:30-6:30pm – In the case of extreme weather, we may shorten our time outside or cancel for everyone’s safety. We will do our best to update you all closer to each date. ☃️

January 2026 is Veganuary!; “Veganuary inspires and supports people all over the world to try vegan for January and beyond. Millions of people have already taken part. Will you join them?”

Back in the early 2000s when USA invaded several oil-rich countries in the Gulf region, there was a meme that said – What is our oil doing under their land?
The USA is after the Venezuelan oil.
That is also why Trump mentioned annexing Alberta or Canada.
We have the 3 or 4 largest oil reserves in the world.
Venezuela has the largest reserves in the world.
