January 30th – February 11th – Edmonton Maps Website User Experience Survey – Part 2: “Did you know that the City of Edmonton provides various maps on edmonton.ca to help you learn more about neighbourhood features, transit routes, addresses, assessments, bike routes and more?
The City is conducting a short survey to understand how Edmontonians are currently utilizing maps on edmonton.ca. This study follows a previously completed survey from November 2024, that was conducted on maps.edmonton.ca. Through this second study, the City aims to gather feedback to further improve the usability of other maps available on the City of Edmonton website.
The survey will take 8-10 minutes to complete and will close on February 11, 2025 at 11:59 PM. As part of this study, the City is also recruiting participants to join in future research opportunities.”

This online mass briefing is for individuals already in PSN riding groups and those curious about getting involved in organizing in their neighbourhoods. January 31st, Friday – Pride Corner: “From November to April, we will be meeting on the LAST FRIDAY of each month from 4:30-6:30pm at the glass bathrooms on Whyte Ave and Gateway Blvd. 🎉
This allows us time to regroup for next spring, plan other events (keep your eyes open for bi-weekly indoor gatherings!) and collab with other orgs, and just not being outside as much during the coldest months of the year! ☃️
We thank everyone so dearly for all their support in 2024 and for making it another successful season of protesting, fighting for our rights and bringing community members and allies together.”

February 2nd, Sunday – Bash Back Against the Fash: “Join us on Sunday, February 2 from 1-3pm in St. Albert for a supportive demonstration in response to fascists who set up there last Saturday. 🚫
We reject any and all forms of nationalism, whether it be Christian, white, Nazi, Zionist or other. There is absolutely no space in this world for their intolerance, ignorance, and disgusting worldview.
We encourage signs in support for our immigrant populations who are vital parts of our society and communities. 🫶❤️
We encourage signs anti-fascist in nature and against all forms of bigotry as, no surprise here, the perpetrators are also violently anti-queer and against any non cis-het-white person. 🙄
Joy and love will always persist over hatred and division, but we are also past the point of asking nicely. We will stand up for the rights and safety of ALL, not the few, by any means necessary.
Strength in numbers. Strength in community. 🤝
Bring your signs and flags, we will bring the tunes! Let’s show these scumbags how unwelcome they are in our province, country and world! ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻❤️🔥💅🌈🏳️⚧️🧡✌️

February 5th, Wednesday – Climate Chat: “What do I bring to a Climate Chat?”
That’s a big question! The simple answer is “just bring yourself.” But for reals, you can bring a bottle of water and fidget device if that would increase your comfort. And bring your feelings and an open mind. We are going to be getting real with our climate grief and anxiety, so bring your favourite hanky as well.
The flip side of course is “what is provided at Climate Chats?” Our peer-facilitator Lisa provides prompts and questions that get you thinking about your eco-distress and other big feelings about the climate crisis, and offers you space to wrangle with them.
For this session of our climate anxiety workshop, we’ve planned soothing grounding exercises, journaling, a sharing circle, and quiet listening.
Please be on time, and allow yourself the full time to be here.
