Videos of the Week

This is one of the best videos I have seen explaining something.
When we don’t stand up against injustice whenever it happens, the whole system becomes more fragile.
It resets the ‘norm’ of what is acceptable.
There is a grave injustice happening in Gaza, Sudan, Congo, etc.
Are you going to stand up against that?

December 26th, Friday – Pride Corner on Whyte: “Join us for dancing, hot chocolate, peaceful protest, and community! 🪧🎶”
Time: 4:30-6:30pm – In the case of extreme weather, we may shorten our time outside or cancel for everyone’s safety. We will do our best to update you all closer to each date. ☃️
Location: Whyte Ave and Gateway Blvd (by the glass bathrooms) 103rd Street and 82nd Avenue

December 28th, Sunday – Huaman Presence: Stop Arming Israel:
Time: 1 pm
Location: 112th Avenue Bridge over the Wayne Gretzy Drive (Capilano Drive)

January 2026 is Veganuary!; “Veganuary inspires and supports people all over the world to try vegan for January and beyond. Millions of people have already taken part. Will you join them?”
When you sign up, they have lots of resources to support you for the whole month. One of the best decisions you can make. Try it out.
Register: Veganuary

January 10th, Saturday – Night of Solidarity – Edmonton: Stand with Gaza: “Join us in Edmonton for Night of Solidarity, a powerful evening dedicated to standing with the people of Gaza through truth, unity, and collective action.
This event brings together some of the most courageous and influential voices speaking out on justice and human rights today. Through storytelling, journalism, and personal testimony, our speakers will shed light on the humanitarian reality in Gaza and inspire us to act with compassion and purpose.”
Time: 6pm to 9:30pm MST
Location: NAIT (I assume the details and where on the campus will be provided when you purchase a ticket)
Register: Eventbrite

I really don’t want a revolution.
I want an evolution.
Too many times, the revolution harms the many and the corrupt bastards get back in.
I want a new system that makes that impossible.
