July 17th, Thursday – No Queens Day: One June 14th, over 12 million people took to the streets in the USA to host a No Kings Day rally in opposition to the Trump regime. Someone is floating the idea to host cross Alberta actions to show our opposition to the Danielle Smith regime – No Queens Day.

July 17th, Wednesday – Apartment and Condo Waste Collection is Changing: “Waste from most apartments, condos, row houses and other multi-unit buildings in Edmonton is collected in large, shared on-site garbage and recycling bins.”
Time: 6-6:30pm

July 18th, Friday – Human Presence for Palestine: Flags and signs provided
Time: 4:30 – 6:30 pm
Location: North end of High Level Bridge, at the intersection of 109th Street and 97th Avenue

July 19th, Saturday – Women in Black Vigil for Non-Violence: Women in Black formed in 1988 and since then has expanded to 100,000 women worldwide. Women in Black Edmonton formed in 2003. Our silent vigils remind us of the power of nonviolence in a world where violence can destroy lives in our homes, streets, and regions. Please join us.
This is a weekly event. Stand in solidarity!
Time: 11.30 to 12.30 pm
Location: Old Strathcona Farmer’s Marker, 83rd Avenue and 103rd street

July 25th and 26th – Garage Sale for Gaza:
Time: 4-9pm on Friday and 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday
Location: 7415 – 41st Avenue (Mill Woods)

July 27th, Sunday – Global Human Presence Against Starvation in Gaza:
Time: 1 pm
Location: Meet at Wilbur McIntyre Park (Gazebo Park), 104th Street and 83rd Avenue (between the Library and the gazebo)

August 6th, Wednesday – 80th Anniversary of the Bombing of Hiroshima: This was the first time that an atomic bomb was used. It was used against a civilian population. The largest single event ‘collateral’ damage ever.

The only honest response to the “IDF is the most moral Army in the world.”
(IDF = Israeli Defense Force. Some people refer to them as IOF – Israeli Occupation or Oppression Force))
