Where is our humanity gone?

July 11th – 13th – Growing Resilience Together: An Ecogrief Retreat: “”Growing Resilience Together – An Ecogrief Retreat” is an adult-only opportunity to acknowledge the emotional depths of our eco-grief.  There will be time to spend with yourself, to share with others in a safe communally held space, to be with what is – fully – in these times of converging crises and uncertainty. Lay facilitators Melanie Hoffman (GGN Flow facilitator), Chris Peet, and Nathan Binnema, will create a container for you to explore and experience our full range of feeling and expression, and host activities based in the work of How to Live in a Chaotic Climate, the Work that Reconnects, and other rituals. Expect opportunities to laugh, cry, relax, open up, nourish, and connect with yourself and nature.”
Location: 54404 Range Road 65, Gainford
Registration: Institute for Contemplative Ecology

July 12th, Saturday – Prisoners of Poverty: “Join us as we protest against the AISH changes including the introduction of ADAP and the $200 federal benefit clawback. Join us if you too feel under attack. Join us because once we are gone, there is a new target. Join us because we all deserve an accessible and affordable life.”
Bring your protest signs.
Bring a chair to sit, a parasol for the sun (or umbrella for the rain), and any other essentials you may need.

July 17 is not a Wednesday. Is the No Queens event on Wednesday the 16th, or Thursday the 17th, please? I would like to attend, but I need the correct date. mj
